odd playlist bug
Hello,
In 2.91 (and the beta 2.92) I've noticed that any playlist loaded from the media library does not show song title/info properly. most of my songs are affected (as if its not reading tags properly). Initially when winamp/playlist is loaded it will show the file path (eg: h:\\portishead\portishead - roads.mp3) in place of the song title, as soon as I try and play the file all song info (the above mentioned) will disappear and stay blank until I reload the playlist or winamp. There are however some songs that are unnafected and I can't seem to figure out what the difference is. I have in the past used Moodlogic to fig song info and file names, could be causing any issue's? any help on this would be great |

so I'm not the only one.....this is good news!
Older version of winamp did not do this befor, so I went ahead and installed 2.81 to test it out and now I have the same problem! It seems to to happen only to playlist generated and used in the media library, if I were to create a new playlist dragging and dropping songs from the MDL they show song information fine. As soon as I save this playlist in the MDL and load then reload the list, the song information starts to disappear on play. Its frustrating after listening to music for hours and you check your playlist and everything is blank..... |

Any fixes yet?
Not to be a pest, but this particular bug is really quite annoying. Any progress made in resolving it?

Okay, I saw that and I didn't understand it the first time, either, so having it repeated doesn't help. What is an API? What does it have to do with this bug? Is there any way to use a different API to fix it, if this API thing is the issue?
