I have a windows pc so it has to go like this: Source ---> Main server ---> 128 kbps server .................................| .................................---> 24 kbps server so the main server streams to the 128 server and the 24 but how do i fix this :S thanks already |

Do not fully understand your problem!
a) What is your source? - lets assume it is Winamp b) What is your main server? - lets assume it is the Winamp DSP You can just configure two Encoders in the DSP one for 128k and one for 24k. Also configure two Streams in the DSP one using the 128k Encoder and the otherone using the 24k Encoder. In this case you have two streams. But note! In any case you need two Shoutcast servers, since the Soutcast server itself can only handle the listener connects but can not do any re-encoding. So it goes: Source -> DSP (Encoder 128k) -> Server1 Source -> DSP (Encoder 24k) -> Server2 Source and DSP are sitting on the same PC - but you need two Servers! Bernd N. www.radio42.com |

Since the Winamp DSP will take as the input source whatever is currently playing in Winamp...the answer is yes.
Normally you play sound-files (e.g. MP3s)... But since your DJs will play live (I guess) you need a so called "line-in" Input-PlugIn for Winamp. In that case you connect your DJs to your Soundcard (Output->PC)... The line-in plugin will 'play' it in Winamp and the DSP will encode it....yes. |

Tune into the 80kbps DNAS with a Winamp/DSP combo set to broadcast to the 128kbps and 24kbps DNASs.
[edit] Insert warning here about poor sound quality from re-sampling to a higher bitrate than the source. [/edit] |

The DJ broadcasts the 80kbps main stream with Winamp/DSP combo (#1) to a DNAS (#1).
The resampler connects, that is listens, to DNAS (#1) with a Winamp/DSP combo (#2). Configure the Winamp/DSP combo (#2) to output to DNAS (#2) at 128kbps and DNAS (#3). |

Winamp + SHOUTcast source DSP = Winamp/DSP combo.
