Shutting off

I have noticed that when I leave my shoutcast up for over 16 hours and then return to check it, it is not playing the music. That's not so much of a problem, but I then click on the track to start the playlist over and I see the data streaming for a split second. I then have to shut down shoutcast server and restart it in order to get it to work again. As for the playlist stopping, this is odd because I have over 2000 tracks on the playlist so it should not go down on me. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
