Very new user but simple question

on my plugin, when i hit connect it trys to connect, and after 30secs or so it says disconnected, i have no router, i use winxp and firewall is disabled. i set my password in the dnas config and changed it to correspond with that to the pluigin settings password, and the port i used to connect to shout server is 192.168.1.100. So i guess te biggest question i have is why it wont connect. Sorry for which is porbably a repeated question for the millionth time. thx alot! mike
