The real reason your computer keeps crashing

I read this in Popular Science.
http://www.popsci.com/popsci/compute...464015,00.html

Quote:

Advice for the cybersavvy coven, as published in the spring 2003 edition of New Witch magazine.

» Because the physical hard drive is a conduit for a unique type of energy, it is possible for nature spirits (called vaettir) to take up residence within it.

» Do not curse, yell, smack or otherwise vent your anger on your computer. Most vaettir are extremely sensitive to emotions.

» Emotions are energy, and mixing incompatible energy fields can have bad results: culminating in the dreaded "blue screen of death."

» Do what you can to make the computer feel welcome in your home. This includes talking to it, naming it and even offering words of encouragement.

» [Cleanse your computer] by sound. Either clap your hands around the computer or use a rattle. A handful of coins in an old coffee can works just as well—the object is to break up stagnant energy.

» Put unusual and pretty things by your computer for the vaettir's enjoyment. Pretty stones, crystals, feathers, intriguing pictures help create a positive environment.

» TURN THE COMPUTER OFF COMPLETELY WHEN YOU ARE WORKING MAGIC. I cannot emphasize this enough. I've had friends who have had their computers completely crash due to simple energy overload when they inadvertently left them on while doing spellwork.

No thats not true, the real reason is this.

If god intended us to use computers, we would be born with USB ports.

If that thing between my butt cheeks isn't a USB port, then why pray tell do I have a keyboard hanging from it? Hmm?

Nah. I figure "..being fuschia" makes the kids think that I' a moron, and have forgotten that green and fuschia are indeed not the same colour. Or something. Again, just something to be different, and therefore leet. =)

Ok, enough about me. I think th real reason my computer keeps crashing is because it's got a 6 year old jetway (bleh) mobo, which doesn' like OSs newer than win 95, or maybe 98 on a good day. Takes me about ten minutes, and 5 or 6 boots, to have it semi-stable for a few hours. Heh.

I need a new box. 400MHz just doesn't cut the proverbial like it used to.

Don't you mean 1337?

If life calls and you're busy, let the answering machine pick-up.

Just so you know, my previous avatar was NOT a swastika, nor did it have much similarity to one. Just thought I'd clear that up since I cannot use my own original art work.

So THAT'S why my computer keeps crashing!

The world is made of conflicts: good and evil, order and chaos, light and dark, hot and cold. All are essential to life. None can prevail for any length of time, or life will fail. In the end, the best any can hope for is balance.

Tsk tsk, I wouldn't laugh at that magic energy stuff. I work with it, and it DOES work.

However, putting on a voodoo mask and dancing around shaking a maraca for my computer is a little ... too far for my tastes.
However I do understand the energies bit about it.

just as feathery as ever

Raven... I wasn't exactly kidding... I have experimented along the lines of psionics, and usually around my computer. And my computer does crash fairly often.

Not to mention that there was a time a couple years ago that any magnetic media I carried around (floppies and cassettes) got messed up.
