linking
Is there a way to link directly to a stream from a webpage so that the video stream is opened by winamp and not IE. If I enter the stream's url as a link, IE comes up with a load of garbage with a note saying Winamp is required to view the stream.

Put the link within a playlist and host the PLS file on your web-site.

Something to do with the MINE type setings on your webserver ? does it do that for everyone or just you ? post a link to an actual pls file on anactual webserver and we will test.

It works by going into Winampo for me (Mozilla 1.6)
