open nsv file

Hi guys,

Need some help, I get this message when I try to open an nsv file (http://192.168.2.3:18180/;huis.nsv) :

ICY 200 OK icy-notice1:
This stream requires Winamp

I have winamp2.91 and v3 installed, so that couldn’t be the problem, also I followed carefully the instructions on Streaming Video with NSV SHOUTcast page.

This I get to see on the dos prompt:
C:\Program Files\NSVenc>nsvscsrc 192.168.2.3:18181:headers.txt test
Adding file to list: 'huis.nsv'

Hi Sawg thanks.

I forget to mention it earlier, but it's working fine that way.
I just think it will be better and easier for the visitors to view the streaming with a simple button push.

Any other ideas ?

Btw. I get the same results with streaming live video nsvcap and nsvenc

It's a browser issue that the URL confuses it. Create a .pls playlist with the file link in it and host that on your website, or somewhere and give that out.
