I'm from Europe (well I think most people know) and I think that most of teh people in this forum are from the US and Europe, mostly UK (don't know which will be more though, I guess US) Canada coming in third. Let's see if my prediction will be right
It's only natural since it's an English speaking forum. But it's interesting to see the real numbers and relations. (I don't hink this hs been done before at least I don't remember voting in a poll like this)Mia

Sweden of course. And no Sweden isn't that country next to France with all the mountains. Sweden is the country between Norway and Finnland with all the beautifull girls... and IKEA!
Ohhh I forgot. Sweden lies in Europe for those of you that didn't get what i just wrote here above... "What you know you can't explain, but you feel it. You've felt it your entire life, that there's something wrong with the world. You don't know what it is, but it's there, like a splinter in your mind, driving you mad." I have choosen the red pil. |

Well in my sig it says I'm from York City... so you could assume england... but it's New York City so you can assume the states... but in the end I really come from the fourth planet orbiting the sun named Krandor... so North America, US is close enough.
Although I wouldn't be surprized if there are more Europeans here than Americans, it just seems that there more Europe people on fourms more than anywhere else. Anywho. Oh Mia I didn't know you were from England, I thought you were out in the mid-west somewhere in the states... stupid me. |

You mean me, right? Well, I've just said a couple of times (as I have a lot of times before) that I live in Switzerland...why do you think I'm from England? (And, even more interesting, why did you assume I was from the mid west?)I'm curious now ![]() Mia ![]() [edit]But thank you very much that you thought I was a native English speaker, I'm German, English is my 2nd language! But in all seriousness, I figured for someone who would be able to put these types of pictures up all day and actually have great discussions about these issues annnd... the way you had your *ahem* bouncy animations, just thought that you were from the US... mind you I can be very closed minded when it comes to the fact that the entire world doesn't live in the United States.

I'm a Canadian (I'm from Canadia) :P
and Pixie... what part of Canadia are you 40 minutes from? (Canadia's a big country) The world is made of conflicts: good and evil, order and chaos, light and dark, hot and cold. All are essential to life. None can prevail for any length of time, or life will fail. In the end, the best any can hope for is balance. |

lol... Vancouver's a little bit more than a 40-minute drive from Toronto. It'd probably be a week's worth of a road trip, one way.

What is all this talk about UK not being in Europe? That is so much BS. And to you the_Flames (imagine the STFU n00b pic here)... I really like England and I have never heard anyone say that they disslike it.
I was there a couple of weeks ago and the only bad thing I can say about it is that you drive on the wrong side of the road. Lets face it, you don't controle 1/3 of the earths total landmass anymore. You are just a little island in Europe. "What you know you can't explain, but you feel it. You've felt it your entire life, that there's something wrong with the world. You don't know what it is, but it's there, like a splinter in your mind, driving you mad." I have choosen the red pil. |

I don't think anyone said the UK was not in europe, at least I didn't, what I said was I, as in myself, refuse to be known as a European, I am a citizen of the UK, and would prefer it if the UK were not part of the sprawling conglomerate that is Europe.
Call me a xenophobe if you like, but I am fiercely proud of my heritage and cultural roots, and hate to see them absorbed into the faceless entity that is Europe. |
