Changing the bars

Okay, 2 stupid newbie questions:
1. How do I change colour of the bars that are under the time ?
2. What do they mean anyway?

I've been skinning myself, but I don't the original red-yellow-green bars.

Ty.

Send a message via AIM to dimichan
they're in the vizcolor.txt file, in RGB format, open it and you'll see what I mean...

viscolor.txt

Add the attached file to your skin with all your regular bitmaps etc etc, descriptions of what each line does included, colours are RGB as stated above.

Is it my bad memory or is there also a line 24 to make it work properly?

Doesn't work properly

You've been a great help, but I still have a problem. Take a look at my viscolor.txt and viscolor.bmp.

As you can see, I have written that I want a light blue background, light grey dots and dark grey bars. Looking at the bitmap, you can see that the colors have turned out totally wrong.

What have I done wrong?

What are we looking at again?

And can you specify what colours you mean by light blue and dark grey, they don't appear to be RGB values

Colours in viscolor.txt are RGB. That's Red, Blue, Green, in that order

Background is 131,233,206. That's cyan-greenish.
Dots and peaks are 160,0,181. That's purplish-bluish.
Bars are 160,0,120. That's purplish-reddish.

So, I'd say they're showing exactly the colours you defined. Maybe you thought they're Hue-Saturation-Lightness?

Many who live deserve death, some who die deserve life - can you give it to them?
Then be not so quick to deal out death in judgement.

By the way... I'm getting .bmp attachments as unknown/unknown MIME type. My browser can handle image/bmp, image/x-bmp, image/x-ms-bmp and image/x-windows-bmp types.
Is there any reason why the server should send the files as unknown/unknown? Could it be configured to send the right MIME type?

Not what was causing the error, but you don't need the third comma on every line. Winamp uses the two commas between the R and G value and the G and B value to deliminate the RGB values of the colour and a new line to deliminate between each individual colour plus // to mark a single-line comment.

See how bored I am...
