Your favourite font
What is your favourite font?
I'd choose Verdana or TrebuchetMS for small-size text (under 10pt) & Handel Gothic or HumanST for bigger sizes (above 20pt). |

I like dark garden - a weird, dark, twisted kind of font.
"It's like saying give a man a Les Paul guitar and he becomes Eric Clapton, and of course that's not true, give a man an amplifier and a synthesizer and he doesn't become...whoever; he doesn't become us." - Roger Waters |

It really depends on what I'm doing with it. I use Impact in a lot of my ads, just because of how strong, bold, and eyecatching it is. Cosmos is a good fun font that can be stretched nicely. Boulevard is a great script font. Rosewood is an awesome "I just feel like standing out today" font. I'm using Century Gothic on my website because I love the circular letters.
Dawg4Life, you'd love my Neopets guild page, it's got Vampiress for the links ![]() I'm surprised that most people like the plain sans-serif or slab-serif fonts as opposed to something more striking. That's kind of unexpected. |

Century Gothic is my favorite all purpose font, because it can be used in so many applications- Headline, title, copy- and can be used in so many themes. You can never go wrong with it.
My favorite fun font is "Potrzebie" by Rotodesign. In my paying design work, I am constantly working for clients in the entertainment business who love fun retro art. Thus I find myself using this in a lot of my pay work and personal work. http://www.rotodesign.com/fonts/potrzebie/potrzebi.zip Great idea for a thread, by the way. |

That's an interesting page. I got 9/10. I missed the first one, and figured out the rest by deduction and guessing.

9/10 because I know the differences, but they got me on APPLE...
I dislike both Helvetica AND Arial I'm a pretty anti-sans-serif kind of person, except for the decorative fonts.

Call me boring, but I like Times New Roman, 10 or 12 point...
A very close Japanese friend I knew a while ago once said to me "Watashi no koto wo oboeta, onegai shimasu...Yakusoku?" I forgot his name though... |

I think the same argument holds good for two other popular fonts - Tahoma and Verdana. Both are essentially the same, except that the former has less character-spacing & height, for equal font-size. |
