Starting winamp/shoutcast automatically

Ok, sorry if this is posted in the wrong area. I wasn't exactly sure where so I chose here.

1st question;

I currently have the shoutcast server, winamp (with the shoutcast dsp plugin) and mirc in my Win XP startup directory This way, in the event of a power outtage, my system will restart those programs when teh power returns. The only problem I have is that I can't figure out how to get Winamp v2.91 to start playing the song that it randomly chooses. I know this must be possible because I recently looked at the oddcast dsp and it will start up winamp. Unfortunately, the oddcast dsp doesn't have voice over capabilities like the shoutcast dsp does.

So, is this possible or not?

2nd question;

When using the shoutcast dsp with winamp2.91 is it possible to have the shoutcast dsp config window go away rather than sit over the top of winamp? Yes, I know I can move it to a place thats not in the way. Either I have missed how to do this or this is a bad programming example that has no close gadget.

1) In the target of the shortcut define the playlist you want to play after the path to Winamp. (i.e. "C:\Program Files\Winamp\winamp.exe" winamp.m3u will load the last playlist and begin playing)
Also Oddcast does have voice features it is called Adv Rec.

2) No you can't minimize the SHOUTcast DSP window (older versions you can).

thanks for the reply. Your suggestion to add the .m3u to the shortcut worked. I shoulda thought of that :-) and hopefully when/if a dsp comes out for W3 it will allow the config screen to be closed.

ok, so that opens a specific playlist, but does it make a connection to the DNAS and start broadcasting that playlist? how can you get it to do that automatically?

see my previous post.

Yes, making a playlist and adding it to the shortcut I made and put into my startup dir does hit the DNAS (which I also start via the startup dir) and begings playing the playlist.

Just check the "Connect at Startup" checkbox in the "Output" tab.
