Automatically playing in Windows Media Player
Hello,
I am setting up a stream for a conference call for our company. As loyal as I personally am to Winamp, I need to be able to link my shoutcast server to open in Media player. This link works fine for Winamp and Real: Winamp or Real Player If the user has only Media Player installed, I receive an error. It will work if I open media player and choose "open url" for this location: http://140.89.66.14:8000 . I do not want to include the link the way it is because it opens the Shoutcast web page for my server. Is there an argument that I can append to the url to force it to open it in Media player? IE: http://140.89.66.14:8000=open:mediaplayer.exe? As you can see, I am not a web master, just an IT guy.
