loss of audio in shoutcast

Hi,

I just downloaded the shoutcast DNAS server to this machine, as well as the shoutcast source for winamp lugginp, on winamp 2.95. I successfully connected. But about thirty seconds into any song, all audio stops, including my screen reader. The output pluggin is the directsound, and my soundcard is a soundblaster live audigy. What the heck is happening here.
