Problems with server...Please help :(

Ok so heres the situation...

The server has worked great for 2 months and now its decided to go all ape s*** on me and give problems. It is no connected through a router for there is only the basic cable internet box. The server is open and it doesnt have any error messages but yet the site for it which is: http://68.32.124.32:8000/ won't appear which obviously means the server is down. I also have attempted to start it in winamp w/ my password and still a no go. The password is correct so that is not the problem at all. I have even redownloaded it and reconfigured it and I am still clueless as to why its not working. the IP addy is correct also according to IP chicken so...please help someone
