Server Question, people cant connect to listen.
yo, i recently downloaded the shoutcast server and managed to get it running by means of bugging people to tell me how. but i cant get listeners on the damn server. I think it would help to tell you that i have a router connected. also, i believe i need this computers seperate ip address, the one that belongs to this computer so you can listen right? i go to websites to track my ip address and its different from what i get. so i need help, listeners cant connect.
this has probably been answered already so if you know the thread link me, the readme at the top of the list was of no help (i didnt read it fully, i clicked the links and they didnt work) thanks. |

Cool tip of the day: Copy-n-paste elimiates ambiguity.
Check out the results from a SHOUTcast forum search on 'unnamed server'. Look for a post by bigash titled... !!!!Changing station name!!!!! Note: Other search criteria may yield more results. |
