Run ShoutCAST without a DJ?
Basically, I'm starting to host ShoutCAST servers. The most frequent question I get is "Can I have it play thru a list of songs when there is no DJ?", meaning if there is no DJ streaming to the server, if ShoutCAST can just play the contents of a directory that has their uploaded MP3s. Is there a way to do this?

Also, I know you can set a cap for the max users, but am I able to set a cap for max bitrate? eg, they pay for a 32kbps, so I don't want them using 128kbps, etc.

would be a good program maybe or look in the FAQ for scheduling but u should run a dedicated *nix box, but thats just me

The DNAS does not source itself.
If your DNASs use Linux, then check out sc_trans (can source from a directory). Else, a Winamp/DSP combo (or other source) is still required.
