Before Exercising, be sure to properly stretch all muscle groups
I went running today, and I forgot to stretch out my calves, and boy am I paying for it. On one hand, they are rock hard, which is good, on teh other hand they feel like they are on FIRE! Ouch! And then, when I went to get icepacks for them, I opened the freezer, bent down and got them and hit my head on the refrigerator handle (the freezer and fridge are tall and side-by-side). Hurt like a bioch!
Good story huh? Moral: Make sure you properly prepare, no matter how harmless an acticity may be. |

Exercising is for morons. If God had meant for us to touch our toes, he would've put them further up.

Its too late for this advice for me cuz i tried lifting 100 pounds on the shoulder press a coupple months ago and my arms and back were sore for a coupple days... of course i wasn't signed up to these fourms yet so it wouldn't of mattered...
BTW I CAN lift 100 pounds about 10 times on the shoulder press...(its where you push up when you sitting down) Supporting"RE-MOD Bilbo ".::My SETI::..::My Forums::..::My New Site::..::Winamp IRC::..::My DeviantArt Page::. |

hmm....I mix various forms of training and man does it take a toll on the knees. After riding/running my knees would feel like a stabbing pain at the back. Luckily, an associate of mine is a fitness expert and as it turns out I need to stretch more before starting. Yeah right. Why did I not have to do this when I was younger?

Streching before "mousing" or other activities is very important! |

Stretching is a must when I go out on the football field. We stretch as a team, then split up by position. Right now my neck is sore from tackling all day yesterday and today, but everything else is fine.
