I usually despise pictures of domesticated animals, or animals in general, but the lighting is neat. It would be interesting to see the source of the light cropped out. I'm glad you decided to give it a border and resize it. Most photographs on dA are borderless 1800x1800.

Some pictures of lorikeet I took while at the Louisville Zoo yesterday...
These birds are very pretty, since they're very colorful...These particular birds at the exhibit were trained to land on people's heads and everything...I didn't have any land on me (One did land on my dad's head, but my stupid camera took too long to turn on before it flew away), but they did enjoy the human company, especially for those with nectar... http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/59835132/ This bird kept getting onto the walkway, which isn't good for the lorikeets, since they might accidentally get stepped on... http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/59835194/ There was a forth bird in this "group", but he was far off to the side and didn't join in with the others...Moments after I had taken this picture, the four of them got into a bird fight... I found this little guy on the railing of my back porch. So I snapped a macro shot of him with my little Nikon L-10.

Hi guys. I am really happy I found this thread cause I love photography, and enjoy seeing other peoples work
some pics have been resized and some haven't. some images were taken length wise and were rotated. yard & shed [1200x900 pixels] feild [1600x1200 pixels] december/christmas lights and building lights [1600x1200 pixels]- with low iso and extended exposure I created bleeding lights behind the falling snow. I also used a flash to make the falling snow shine |
