Winamp 2.92 and TV
So.... I guess production for 2.92 release is majorly delayed?
And my TV feature doesn't work anymore. It loads the list but is not displayed. I can scroll the bar from left to right and see some of the streaming titles flash up sometimes but they are not displayed any longer than when I scroll the bar. Vive Le Winamp

2.92 isn't supported. it was a leaked beta. best bet is to go back to 2.91

Why use 2.92 anyways? Use either 2.91 or 2.95 or 5.0 prealphasuperleetness.

I have 2.92. There is little difference between 2.92 and 2.95 anyways and, although I have wa 5, I don't use it becasue I would rather have a stable program than a buggy prealpha. There isn't anything great about wa5- just a buggy, prealpha of a freeform skin plugin

2.92 is much more stable because the only new plugin is cd-ripping which is very stable and not a prealpha. It hasn't crashed once since I got it. WA5, on the other hand, crashes every so often, and screws up when it is shut down. If you actually tried both for a few hours, you would see what I mean.

I have had WA5 running almost 24/7 for days, and beforehand I had used 2.95, and I see little or no difference other than the ability for me to use the MMD3 skin (and other freeforms of course) with around the same speed as WA2.

I am using 2.91, sorry for that...
So should I just reinstall Winamp then to fix the TV problem? And should I get 2.92 from Winampheaven? It's been a really long wait for 2.92! Thx all |
