having probs ..in disabling NAT,ISP cache ,etc

to whom this may concern,
i recently started using the shoutcast server program and wondered
what i have to disable exactly in order for my shoutcast server to work and also what port i have to set so everything agrees with the connection and that its all good to use the DNAS server program,...

i'm running windows ME
i'm using winamp version 2.91

and i didnt exactly understand the technical DOC on the matter that exaplined " what ever port i have set for the DNAS server that it explained i also have to set everything else to the same port" ????
i didnt understand the way it as explained, could someone PLEASE
help me .....
