How Do People Discover Cheats In Games?

the programmers of the games make them and then probably publish it somewhere or tell somebody. i dont think many people actually guess cheats, but they might look for them in source codes.

Other people read the source code and write trainers. A while ago I found a universal trainer that would let you modify almost any number in a game (it took a while for it to "lock" on the variable, though and it crashed some games). EA has a "hotline" where you can call to learn cheats for their games (it costs money, though). Sometimes, cheats are really debugging modes for programmers to test various features.

To make a trainer, you have to know specific memory locations and such, which takes a lot of work.

www.xcheater.com go to cheat tools on left side of screen then scroll down and get Trainer Maker Kit v1.51 and TSearch v1.6. TSearch findsthe memory address for lets say unlimited ammo once you get down to the last address thats theone to keep. Trainer Maker Kit makes the trainer thats where you put the address.
