sc trans commands

know this sounds like a really stupid question but i can't figure out how to skip to the next track etc as specified in the sc trans conf file

i tried both typing WINCH and USR1 in the actual terminal window as well as opening a new command but nothing

what am i doing wrong?

Use kill -WINCH pid where pid is the process id of sc_trans (i.e. kill -WINCH 2084) NOTE: Use ps to get the pid.
