Number five. In the ancient greek olympics there was the pentathalon. The pentathalon had 5 events. Often a source of controversy, the five sided star in a circle, otherwise known as a pentagram, was often mistaken for evil, when if flipped upside down, it meant the exact opposite.

The regular septagon (seven sided polygon) is one of the most difficult shapes to draw freehand. Several movies and bands have this number in them(8stops7, sevendust, seven, etc). Fun.
