When was the last time you cried?

When was the last time you really poured out your soul? What was it over? Who caused it? Did you feel better? Is crying good for you? Does it really help?

I remember quite well, it was when I decided to leave my ex-wife. I knew I was hurting her and that hurt me. I also didn't want to move away from my son. But things are well now and thats all the matters.

about three days ago, because the severity of my family's financial situation may cause us to lose our house in a few months. I felt a little better afterwards.

That sucks Dlink - no wonder you've sounded a little uptight. I hope you felt better cause things looked better.

Me? Last time I heard the Christmas version of Snoopy v. The Red Baron. Just something about that damned song. It's just so goddam uplifting.

A couple of weeks ago, during a very bad nightmare. I fortunately don't remember what I dreamt though. Before that, I can't remember but it probably was during this year. I don't like to cry in front of people, it's embarrasing for although I know it shouldn't be. I have no problem with others crying in front of me but I mostly just can't do it...something really bad would need to happen.

i rewatched an old cartoon of my childhood a couple months ago. cryed when i first saw it, cryed a couple months ago, and probably will cry if i see it again.

"Most of my male friends get their hair trimmed, including the hair around their temples, even though this is expressly forbidden by Lev. 19:27. How should they die?"

The last time I cried was three years ago, when my three month old niece died. I don't think I need to say any more than that.

Don't normally cry often, or at all. If I have, it's been a long time since I last did, and the memories of that day are too faint to recall...

A very close Japanese friend I knew a while ago once said to me "Watashi no koto wo oboeta, onegai shimasu...Yakusoku?"

I forgot his name though...

Dragonson, you just reminded me of my last time. A few years ago when my best friend got hit by a car and died. I'll spare you the details but it wasn't a pretty sight.

@ DragonSon that is too awful to say something trite about. You have had more than your share of complete heartache!

I cried today out of pain and frustration. All of this car accident crap just finally hit me. There are so many things being affected by this. The tears just started rolling while I was doing my physical therapy. I think it might have helped a little, but I'm still feeling a little down right now.
On the brighter side, I keep telling myself that I will get better and be able to do all the things I did before. It's just going to take time.

Emotional pain is what gets me to cry. I havn't experienced anything personal, like with friends or family, but this has been a long time since I've been born for this to be like that...Until that time comes...

It's coming up on the three year mark, October 1st. My sister (her mother) told me yesterday that one of the hospitals is holding a Rememberance in honor of babies who died there. It's on October 27, and I'm not so sure I want to go. It would be too hard for me to go, I just can't imagine how she holds it together.....

When I went to a wedding with my late cousin's husband a couple weeks back. It was just so hard to be there with him and watch him try to hold it together. And I was supposed to be the moral support, lol. Throughout the entire ceremony, all I could keep thinking about was my cousin's wedding, very simple, but full of laughter and happiness.

A couple of years ago I never cried (for about 10 years). But when I learned to know myself better, it was also a lot easier to cry. Sometimes it helps, sometimes it doesn't.

Thumbs up for everybody having a hard time!

Just Tuesday, I found a job. Which means, I will be leaving the school I've been living at for over a year now. After hearing all the advice from the mentors I have had, and all the "We'll miss you" from friends I've made, I cried for a good 10 mins because I didn't realize I had that much of an affect on people there. Also, all the stress of finding an apartment again, budgeting whatever money I will have left, and holding up in the face of being tossed out ON my face. Just couldn't hold it.

Also, if Mia is looking to cheer up, advise her not to visit this thread.

November of 1998

The day after thanksgiving I awoke around 8 or 9 in the morn and walked over to my grandpa's house(right next door) to borrow the car to go rent Zelda Ocarina of Time with a friend of mine. We were outside talking when my uncle walks out and tells us that my grandma hasn't woken up yet. She normally wakes up at 5. I immediately knew she was dead. I walked inside and looked at her and she was all pale and lips purple and rigomortous(sp?) had started setting in because I could barely move her. Either way I called my mother and told her to come home from work and didn't tell her the reason so she wouldn't get into an accident driving home crazy.

Well, all hell broke loose when she got home and the tears started going. I then called 911 and told the paramedics to come. My mother and grandfather wouldn't let go of my grandmother. Finally the medics took her and our lifes changed dramatically. Cried all that night and have cried subsequently every morning after thanksgiving. :/ Just glad she went in her sleep because if anyone deserved a peaceful death it was her. Only time I cry now basically.

Last Friday....

I had this realy weird relationship with my ex-girlfriend. We've maintained a realy good friendship after we broke up, then two weeks ago her new boyfriend freaked out completely at a party, cause i was flirting a bit with her (for fun!). well i told him some things, and apparently i turns out he didn't know we were together, and out of the alcohol fumes i apparently also told him some things she absolutely didn't want him to know. So my ex got realy mad at me for telling that.

Last friday, we were at the same bar (we're both on the same programme in uni) and she told me she would never forgive for this, and she wouldn't talk to me ever again....

God dammit, i cried for two bloody hours, loosing your best friend realy realy sucks!

My mother, grandma, and grandpa all passed away in a week. My Grandma and Mother were driving to Pittsburg and some how got in a bad crash both died on site. when my grandpa found out he had a heartactack and died two days latter. I went on though the funnerals just fine than about a week latter i finally broke down alone in my room. Afterward i felt so inscure i couldnt stand it. I felt extremely ashamed because i cried. That was the first time in years

ertmann, hang in there, she's just really mad from the initial anger, give her a few weeks to cool off and try and talk to her, apologise a lot, tell her about how you cried, explain how truly sorry you are because you obviously are. Give it a while and she will forgive you, if she doesn't she wasn't that great a friend in the first place. Just give it some time and things will mend.

Well, you see - the thing is that we've had our fights before.... mainly because i still had feelings for her, and put her in a tough situation couse she realy wanted (and sometimes needed) my friendship but didn't want a relationship again.

And with all the arguments we've had, nothing equals this - she wont even look at me at school. I've never worried about us not talking again when we've fought in the past - but this time it is serious, I know her well enough to sense that.

But if she can't forgive me after all the times i've written to her and apologised, she is probably not a true friend

Yes, from what you say i can tell she means a lot to you, and that probably means shes at least a little worth it. We can't say you didn't act like an asshole but people do that, people forgive each other, long term friends have fights, they mend, people move on. You've just got to hang in there. It's like if you know someone for years and they're a great person, then one day they act like an asshole, fallouts will be had, but people will come back because deep down they know they're a good person but they have their bad days.

Don't be ashamed. Considering what happened to you, cry all you want. Very sorry to hear about that, even if it's been over a year.

@Bilbo: OUCH!!! Getting thumped in the groin area for males or females hurts. I hope Mrs B made the owie feel better
