Admin password stops woring... (linux)

I've got a shoutcast server setup on my linux box. If it has been up for a while without someone connecting to it (a stream) the admin password stops working. Can't connect to it with a stream or log into the admin page using the admin pass. If you kill it, and start it up again the pass works fine for a little, then the same thing over again.
