invalid password?

I was wondering if any tech could help me with this...after i configured my shoutcast preferences i click on connect and it tells me INVALID PASSWORD. and does not connect me.
Why does it do this?...Is it possable i reset the password somehow or is it a glich.
If i did reset the password if that is even possable where can i find out the new one?
And when i log onto my server status page it tells me server id down. why? Is this the problem or what??? is?
Frustsrated.

Hello DJ Aladdin,

Your server is down because no live source is connected and it is not connected because you have this password problem.

If you host your own DNAS (SHOUTcast server) you just have to enter the configuration file sc_serv.ini or sc_serv.conf and look in the first paragraphs. All is setup here.
