There's a 12" of Mama Used to Say??? Must acquire that one, the boys love it. They get confused between Junior & Junior Senior.
Easy mistake.12"s: Princess - Say I'm Your No.1 Pepsi & Shirley - Heartache Alexander O'Neal - Criticize |

The Grid - Beat Called Love
The regular 7inch mix, pressed over a one sided 12inch vinyl & lacquer plate, DJ pressing only, sleve was an inside out old 80's album, by some band whose name I can't remember, probably old print stock re-used, sealed with a tech data sticker. A clear, bass thumping, in your face kind of sound |

Who was it who appeared on TOTP wearing "It's grim Up North" anoraks and just stood there twiddling knobs on mixing-desks? I think it's the KLF, but it may have been the Grid. The Junior mixes orac? I don't know if you're serious or having a laugh. Very hard to tell.

The Grid were more chart friendly, dance friendly, but from the same time frame, early 90's, they went off the rails mid 90's producing some utter shite, go look up "swamp thing", bleh., Best stuff they did was "Floataion", very early 90's, great tune, and probably the only time you'll hear Aled Jones singing "walking in the air" mixed into a dance track... I think they split some time in the late 90's, certainly one of them, Dave Ball, went back to his former double act and started touring with that again, a little band called Soft Cell, you may have heard of them

Don't get me started on Soft Cell - I love 'em. I have no Grid stuff on MP3, however that could soon change.
Early 90's you say.

Cheers for the pointers Jones.
I remember Swamp Thing being awful actually, which is why I probably haven't touched the Grid. Their earlier work sounds good.Mulu - Pussycat (Francois K Mix) |

Ladytron - Seventeen (Droyd Mix)
Seventeen should've been a 12" track in the first place. Now it is.
