On demand streaming questions

My listeners are having some issues connecting to my stream:

I recently dropped my streaming service and have decided to run straight through my IP once again.

my link is set up as

http://68.44.108.52:8000/content/Sept202003.pls

my show Sept202003.mp3 and Sept202003.pls are both sitting in my content folder but the connection fails.

Any ideas?

To do on-demand, you must upload the .pls onto a server and then link it to that. Let's say your site is seemless.com and the .pls is called DJshow.

You'd link it by linking http://www.seemless.com/DJshow.pls

I believe that's it. For additional information, check out this thread.

I've never uploaded the pls. file to my webserver in the past .. I just had it sitting in the content folder of SHOUTcast

Like I said , i picked up a streaming service for a few days and was unhappy with it , cancelled the service , and an now trying to get back to where I was but it is now longer connecting using the "old" method
