Ask any one in these threads.

Offer to have sex with a llama for free. You'll either get banned, or made a moderator. Either way, your forums life as you know it, is over.

wow, hgnis, i just read all those threads. makes me kinda happy that i wasn't around then. all those banned members. its sad really. it seems that some of them simply had to apologize but they let pride get the better of them. in the time i've been here, i haven't heard of any major bannings such as these. Hopefully, things have changed and these events are a thing of the past. but if anyone out there reads this, i have a question i really need answered. Why is Chev not a mod anymore? he seems like he would do a great job. i see him all the time in GD telling people not to spam and postpump. he has already had a positive influence on me without being a mod.

Not trying to bring up any bad memories for anyone here. I would really like to know.

Damn, i'm in a bad mood now from reading all of those threads.

Having trouble sleeping so I've been reading old threads. I've read bits and pieces of these situations, but not all back-to-back... Kinda hard to take. I still have a copy of rm.txt somewhere. Any of you still out there?

I read them all now; quite depressing how people were. We don't really have that issue anymore; people just stay or go quietly. It does hurt that people don't seem as numerous or close as they did then.

I do believe if the Bin had been around back then, maybe a few folks would have found their way to it and might still be around.

Out here on the perimeter there are no stars....

The Bin is a nice place.

Yes, indeed it is. There is freedom and beauty in toxic waste. A subforum I can always "count on" (pun intended).

I believe that the essence of the bin is summed up by an analogous famous quote.

In the words of the great Annonymous:

Quote:
Since writing on bathroom walls is done neither for critical acclaim nor financial gain, it is the purest form of art.

Don't forget to live before you die.

I don't believe I've ever heard anyone say "magnificent bastard" before. Nice.

I had the same thought. We might be wrong, though

It would take a mod to find out. Is his ip from Iran or a proxy location?

It had some personally identifiable information in it. A while back, an "edited" version was posted while the unedited version was bouncing around via instant message programs and private messages here at the forums. I ended up getting it through private message, but really, I found the edited version to make me laugh about it a bit more.
