Angry Whats up with my background image???

I'm attempting my first skin, but I have this little problem thats really doing my head in. When I load my skin into winamp, it magically develops 4 transparent areas where there is no transparancy. At first I thought my png file was to blame, but the file seems ok. If you look at the picture, the areas around the 4 outer screws becomes transparent, and the desktop is visible beneath. I don't have the desktop alpha enabled, so whats the problem???
Can anyone help here?

Thanx Matt - I tried your idea, and when I made a dupe image in photoshop I noticed 4 hairline circles on the original. Guess maybe I need glasses huh?
