I stream, but nobody hears me!
I have it all set up now, but nobody can connect to the stream in winamp, or using the stream ebbedded on my radio page:
http://www.blind-summit.co.uk/radio.html I can however open up another copy of winamp and connect to my own stream What's up with that? Also, I can't use msn / yahoo / trillian whilst broadcasting because of the use of ports. I currently stick with 80, 8000 or 8080. What others can I use, and what are the ups and downs with the others? |

You can use any ports. What IP are you using to connect to your server through the SHOUTcast source?

OK, sorted out that issue. My Antivus program was a bit too good. It has a POP / TCP/IP checker as well Ib locks everything including many ports.
Last 2 questions 1. On my radio page: http://www.blind-summit.co.uk/radio.html There is a small bit of php that displays the listenrs / total and if it is online or offline. It also should show the current artist & song. The Artist & song don't show up tho The admin section here http://blind-summit.no-ip.com:8000 shows that the port is 127.0.0.0. I am hosting & broadcasting from my own PC with WWWinamp & Winamp 2.91 & Shoutcast 1.9.2 2. Can I alter: http://blind-summit.no-ip.com:8000/played.html to have Background: FFFFFF (white) Text: 808080 (grey) Links: 8AACDC (pale blue) instead of black and white? I currently am using the frames individually on my site here: http://www.blind-summit.co.uk/radio.html |
