winamp freezes when i try to play tunes

hi all

when i have the server up and running and the dsp plugin is connected etc and i try to play a song it just stays on 0seconds

any idea why and how to overcome it?

What file format are the source tunes?

What make/model soundcard is in the Winamp/DSP combo machine?

sorry, not too sure what you mean. im running winamp 2.91, with DSP v1.82b if that helps

just regular mp3s, 128 and 192 mostly

-> SHOUTcast DSP
-> Input Tab
-> Input configuration
-> Input device
