Skin of The Month!

Hallo @ all,
I had a little idea in the last time. I thought bout it would be cool to make a new contest. It would be cool to have skin of the month. Every month there will be One skin which gets the award Skin of the month. The winner will be the skin with the most downloads in the last month. It is similar to featured Skins but would be mor important and cool. Tell me what you think about this Idea.

sounds nice, though i think that mmd3 would be skin of the month very often! and there is already a section with "Most downloaded skins", so it'd be a bit redundant!

In fact there is one but i think it would much cooler to have skin of the month. They (the skin reviewer who make the featured skins shots)could add a little bit logo to the skinshot. Every one who sees the skin know this was once skin of the month and I think this could move the people to make much better skins

i don't think so :-/ it'S sad, but i really don't think that people would put more effort in their skins jsut because then they get the chance to have it awarded for skin of the month.

i agree with RoNtZ, peeps will put effort into their skins to the best of their ability most of the time.
ther are the odd exceptions that put more than that into their skins but these peeps arent doing it for that rating, they are doing it cos they think others will like what they have done and also use the skin making to further their addiction, lets face it you have to be addicted to spend all those hours

I am not addicted. But i dun wanna make bad skins thats all. I usualy need more than 4-5 months for making a skin. That means i allways spend a little time in my skin dayli or weekly. But i spend a lot of time in my skin. The other thing is i wanna get a better coder and the only way to reach it is writing a lot of maki. I do beside winamp3 coding java, php, actionscript and a lot of other things and i started learning VB week befor and last but not least i have to go to school but all these needs time so i need month till i have a skin finished
