Is this enough bandwidth....?

Hello everybody. I have decided to get a server with 500GB non cogent bandwidth per month. I am going to be running a 32kbps non mp3pro stream using SHOUTcast. (24/7 stream)

Is this enough for a station that will get between 1500+ TLH, and maybe more eventually?

Also, what do you guys host yours on (how much bandwidth)?

Thanks

-Mark

If that doesn't work for you mixx941, try this one.

LollipopLustKil, looks like 8gb total bandwidth usage for a stream of 32kbps 24/7 with 100 listeners the whole time. Wow

Looks like the dedicated server with 500GB bandwidth is exactly what I need.

Yeah, you could also up the bitrate and make it sound better as well.

Yeah, except alot of my listeners are on dialup. I wanted to have 2 streams (one 32kbps and one 96kbps), and I've had a post in this forum about multiple birate servers using FreeBSD here, but I didnt get every answer I needed (how to do it on FreeBSD really).

Thanks

Ooh, I read that wrong . 1,013 gigabytes per month. That's double what I got, but then again I over exadurated with the listener counts. I put in 100 listeners all the time on the converter at: http://www.casterclub.com/bw_calc.ph...=monthly_usage

If the station takes off again after I was screwed by Live365, then I will have to get some advertisers.
