Convert Streaming Audio .PLS to MP3 ?

Hi,

I've read the read-only forum and there are many discussions on how to rip or convert music files to MP3 and WAV formats, but nothing for converting a stream, such as Nullsoft's Radio signal onto a playable CD for use on a regular CD/DVD Player.

Can streaming audio signals like .pls be converted to a long MP3 for playback on a regular CD Player which accepts MP3's and VCD's, or is the saved stream only playable on a computer media player?

I plan on using Winamp 2.91 and Streamripper.

Thanks in advance!
