Here is a sample line with boost enabled

Though to change the color i reccomend changing the gray="0" to either ="1" or ="2"

BTW that line was just copied from Angel Of the Fl's "Evil WA5" post above just because it was easy to get to...

umm.. now that i think of it, i dont think i tried changing it myself. It sorta came out like that - i left the dark background color Good Ol' Winamp has, so it must be one of the Text Values which ive changed to red. Change each of the text values and single out the right one

Its all clear now!
It seems the text colour only show strongly when the "Background" colour is dark(tested,just change the colour of Angel of Flame theme).
No wonder the default skin(and all light colour themes) has the problem too.

Earlier in this thread I have, but I have liked any of the prior ones so they arent added.

Also, there are many color themes that I did not add because they were made with a template for the earlier betas, I compiled a few of the RC8 color themes.

easteregg for llamas: [ctrl]+[alt]+[shift]+left click on the middle line of pixels between the 2 sides - it's kina hard to do but u'll eventually get it

I use 1280x1024 resolution and it's easy to enable it (my opinion). Are you using bigger resolution ? Winamp version is rc10

Here is all the color themes from this post that work with rc8 and rc10.

I included the new themes from rc10.

this file goes into.

..\Program Files\winamp\skins\Winamp Modern\xml\

And yes you want to replace the file.

If this screws up your winamp. Then you just have to reinstall winamp to fix it.

Hey man, Topanga is hot. Dont be sorry. Altho the color do hurt my eyes. I still have added your theme to my list.
Every once in a while I will upload a compilation of the the WORKING color themes from this thread.

So if someone wants to fix the colorthemes from the beta's I will add them to my compilation... I'd do it but, meh I don't care enough.

Hey, I am having trouble coloring the equilizer. The inverted text that label the sliders (for the frequency bands) are just light grey for me in my own skin, and I do not see where they take their color information from.

Which part of the color declaration applies to them?

Looks neat, even its WIP. i have no idea on which part of the text youre talking about at the moment (kinda off today), but there arent many text parts, try changing those you havent touched, or those who have the right values for grey (as you say thats what appearing now).

Yeah, I definitely see what you mean about the eye thing. The skin just doesn't do well with that bright a yellow. Too blinding. I made a new version that I think looks better in general. Plus you won't get a headache using it. So if you could substitute this (all I changed was the Backgrounds group), I'd appreciate it.

Also, there are many color themes that I did not add because they were made with a template for the earlier betas, I compiled a few of the RC8 color themes. Why make something idiot proof?? It sorta came out like that - i left the dark background color Good Ol' Winamp has, so it must be one of the Text Values which ive changed to red. Change each of the text values and single out the right one

I think it was winamp 1.x, I searched the winamp 2 site. But its gone now. [edit] Hey man, Topanga is hot. Dont be sorry. Altho the color do hurt my eyes. I still have added your theme to my list. Every once in a while I will upload a compilation of the the WORKING color themes from this thread. So if someone wants to fix the colorthemes from the beta's I will add them to my compilation... The inverted text that label the sliders (for the frequency bands) are just light grey for me in my own skin, and I do not see where they take their color information from. Which part of the color declaration applies to them? Apart from that: See attachment for WIP. Edit: Forgot to upload the picture. So here is a link.
