Scroll wheel only changes volume now.

I have a huge issue with WA5 and noone else seems to have picked up on it I searched the forums).

In Winamp 2 if the playlist was active the mouse wheel would scroll down the playlist and if the main box was active it would change the volume.

In Winamp 5 however no matter which window is active the scroll wheel only changes the volume, this sucks ass.

I don't seem to have this problem, but it's been reported by almost everyone else.

For me, the scroll wheel still scrolls the playlist, and any other windows, without affecting the volume. I feel special.

I use a crappy techworks mouse, no extra drivers.

Win2k SP4
Winamp5b1
Techworks Wheelmouse (i think i paid about $8 for it).

This is also listed in the known bugs list so this is nothing to worry about, as is being taken care of.

@BongFish
The problem you described used to happen to me in one of the older alpha versions.
This was fixed in one of the earlier beta versions, and is definitley fixed in the current public beta1 build.
Make sure you're not using the ancient leaked alpha 1 version.

In the latest internal Beta2 (not publically available yet),
the only scrollwheel issue remaining is in the Now Playing section of the media library. This doesn't affect everyone apparently, but for me (and a few others have reported it too), the main window volume changes after 4 or more turns of the wheel . . .

In all other winamp windows (PL/ML), you need to actually click in them first for the scrollwheel to work. Smartwheel support has never been implemented in Winamp (lord knows why not).
