Simple but stumped... how do I get Winamp to recognize new files?

I've tried looking in the FAQ, I've tried the help file and I've searched the forums. I may have missed something obvious but for the life of me I can't get WinAMP to refresh the media library. I've tried re-pointing it to the prpoer location but don't see any changes.

All I really want to do is have WinAMP refresh the library list at startup so that if I've added files, they will be listed and available to add to playlists.

Help?! Please !?
