this is just a snapshot build.. witch means this is just a compile of the current code structure, still needs much working on and tweeking and re-aranging and fixing.
its not the font its self.. its the rendering, it uses freetype redering instead of truetype now.
if you want the normal font back. delete the freetype wac (read further back in this thread for a post by me saying were the wac is)

try increasing font size... in that screen shot, it looks like you are using 6pt font or smaller.... of course its gonna look messed... generally, anything bellow 8pt starts to look horrible

I like the idea of Winamp3 being changed to Wasabi Player. Then perhaps Winamp5 should be changed back to Winamp4, since it isn't going to be 2 + 3, but 2 + Wasabi.

??

The only problem would be that Wasabi doesn't carry the Winamp name, which is extremely well-known. But whatever happens to Winamp3/Wasabi, I'll use that player, because I don't like Winamp2!!

Don't bother reporting bugs, we're all ignoring them. I'll tell you when to report bugs .

What do you mean increasing font size? Is there such an option in WP? I couldn't find it. If you mean increasing size of windows fonts, that's not an option-all other programs works fine with my 8px settings, and as you can see from attached image, without freetype.wac WP looks fine as well.

It will become apparent that this question doesn't in fact matter.
uhh, trying to work out how to interpret this... brennan will leave nullsoft with wasabi player and set up a separate company? aol will buy it out 'aol wasabit player'?

and would

Just give us a while and everything will become clear... I'm not intentionally being cryptic, I've just got to get some stuff sorted out before I commit to anything.

I have finnally seen the light as far as winamp3 i concerned...after dling winamp 5 I decided to give WA3 another go and actually liked it. Unfortunately, this build doesnt work for me, do i need to have the original #499 and install over it to get it to work? Where can I get the original #499 so that if i cant get this one to work i can at least have something other than the original release?

as with all developer builds of winamp3/Wasabi Player, you should do a clean install, meaning uninstall any previous versions, or installing to it's own directory. no, you don't need the previous #499 build. Not everything works in this build either (most noticeably, AVS is missing. Darkain noted he couldn't get it to compile under this sdk), but this is because it is a snapshot of current progress, not meant at all to be any sort of release candidate.
