Issues with 'sort by name' and tracknumbers
In WA5 I has my titles in the format:
[%artist% - ][$abbr(%album%,10)[ %tracknumber%] / ]%title%[ %streamtitle%] which is brilliant, it sorts by artist, album then track number so I can play whole albums in the correct order very easily, which was just not possible in WA2/3. My problem is that although most of my track numbers go 01,02,03 etc some go 1,2,3, and these mp3's get sorted in the order: 1 10 11 12 ~ 19 2 20 21 3 4 ~ 9 It would be nice if WA5 would see 10 as a whole and put it after 9 rather than just looking at the 1 and putting it after 1 so you don't have to move your MP3's around after a 'sort by title'. I'm not very good at explaining things so if you don't get what I mean just ask and I'll try again! If you too think this would be a good idea please show support! |

Issues with sort by track number
Hi, I'm new to the ID# tag thing.
And I have the same issue as you did. (Exactly) what do you have typed in the "Title formating (default)" space and the "Title formatting [when ID3 tag is present]" space Thanks for the help.

odd
i have my ripping software setup to put track number in 01 02 03 style and i have it setup to put it so the track is put in the tag with the artist name show it shows up like d01 System of a Down - prison the d at the beggining of it is so the album stays together so all my albums have a leter seperating them |
