I kinda get this. I can play my shoutcast stream on my PPC. But I guess there's no way to broadcast from a PPC?
Is there? If not, I might want to try creating a PPC app to do it... Does anyone know what the DSP plugin sends? And how? C-Ya all @ the forums! (I just like to use that Smily )

Search on yahoo or google for "Palm PDA Internet Radio" The first one will help you.

I am not aware of any way to broadcast from a ppc. This seems to me like it would be a rather bad idea. Though they have g wireless they sure as hell don't push 54 M ... its more like 1 M. Plus, to conserve power, the wireless on the ppc is not always really working.
All of the above make for an impossible broadcast. |

None of the above really counts for me... Too bad it does for others..

Shoutcast on a WM Touch Phone
I play Shoutcast stations on a Samsung Omnia running WM 6.1 Professional, using Normsoft's Pocket Tunes 5.0 for WM. It comes with a huge list of stations including Shoutcast stations. It is a bit pricey, $37.95, unless you have a prior version. You can shift from Palm to WM.
