it doesn't work well with the latest vesions of wa3, which most likely means it will have even more prblms if you try to use it on v5.

but anyway here

real link -> http://www.customize.org/details/11749

Here ya go...

Version 1.5, but in my search, I saw a reference to 1.9. I'm still looking.

http://www.TheGleep.com/corneramp.wal

The link *should* work, but no guarantees. If it fails, lemme know and I'll e-mail it to you.

For those of you who haven't solved this problem yet, I have a copy of corneramp that works seemingly perfectly with Winamp5. I have no idea what version it is, but my friend was using it and I asked him for it and now I'll pass it on to whoever needs it.

NOTE: I have tight bandwidth constrictions so I'm only going to be able to host for a little while. If you can take over, please AIM or email me and let me off the hook.

Without further ado, download CornerAMP

P.S. I hope sometime soon we get an updated version with all the windows skinned. That would make this skin truly perfect.

This is version 1.5

It's that latest I've found and the one I was trying to post. I'll post it to a different site as soon as I can.

At n0nau's request, I've posted the skin on SuprNova.org, even though it's smaller than normally warrants a torrent. In any case, this allows me to take it off my server which means if you still want it you'll have to get a BitTorrent client such as Azureus or TheShad0w's. Then just go to http://suprnova.dataracks.net/torren...mp.wal.torrent. Make sure you keep the torrent open for a while after you finish downloading, so other people can get it off you.

Maybe someone with a real webhost can post this and remove the hassle.

Ok after getting the bittorent after quite a wait, I split the archive, there are three parts which I will attempt to attach to the forum, you will need to rename the extension of parts z01 and z02, but I will see how this goes

Starting with CornerAmp_split.z02
(don't forget to remove the .zip exension and leave the z02)
Attached Files
File Type: zip corneramp_split.z02.zip (100.0 KB, 315 views)

Next is CornerAmp_split.z01
(don't forget to remove the .zip exension and leave the z01)
Attached Files
File Type: zip corneramp_split.z01.zip (100.0 KB, 311 views)

open this file with Winzip or WinRAR . FYI: the one built into XP won't work

Can't. It's incomplete, that's why it was rejected in the first place.

Actually, I think it was removed because someone reported it as a "rip". Version 1.5 was modified by someone *other* than Evil Pumpkin and Nine of Nine - the creators of WinAmp. Technically, 1.5 is a "rip", in that it was posted by someone not the creator.

If I'm right about this, maybe the Winamp folks should change the way they handle rips - when reported, e-mail the original creator and see if they mind the rip. If they don't reply, don't remove the skin.

Just IMO, of course.

No, it was removed because it was incomplete. It has never ever even been considered as a rip.
Just ask me, I know. I was the one who unpublished it.

Published it? Do you have access to the creators? I've tried e-mailing them, but no responses.

If I could get ahold of the script, there's a couple of changes I'd like to make (adding the Vid button, for example).

Sorry, you read that wrong a little bit. I said I UNpublished it. As a reviewer, I have to do things like that sometimes.
As soon as the author updates it with the required components (all windows skinned) it can be republished though.

Posting in support of Nullsoft's policy on rips. Emailing creators would be annoying to them, not to mention impossible for the reviewers. We, as fans, should be responsible for getting that permission and I will be doing my best as soon as I get a little more spare time. :-P

Thanks for keeping us informed, wildrose-wally. Here's hoping again that someone (legitimately) updates and posts this skin, or else just emulates it. I for one will owe that person a full night of lovemaking in the manner of his/her choosing.
