Your movie-recommendations

The last weeekend was booooring for me.
I have no money to buy a new game and some of my friends with good movie tastes and big DVD vollections are on holiday somewhere south. And I didn't know what movie I'd like to rent.

I don't want to be bored one more weekend. Tell me some good movies. Doen't need to be extremely deep, any good thriller/action/horror is fine. I've still got time to order them from the communal libary-system until next weekend, it's waaay cheaper than renting them.
Thank You!

Pi is a good film about a mathmatician who goes slightly crazy, or Good Will Hunting is about a really bright bloke who just wants to be a labourer, or something. Both are really great films.

Ok, but I've seen that one at least 10 times. The music and the car-chases are hard to beat.

Then ya' should have recognized spaces' avatar!
Bullets Over Broadway is very funny..in a dialogue intensive
slap-stick quotable as hell kind of way...and asks a very
thought provoking question!

Before I started this thread I searched the forums for "movie".
No interesting results on the first three pages.

(If I had slept more than 4 hours I might have had enough mental capacity to figure out to search for "movies" or "DVD" instead. But I tried, didn't I )

I wouldn't have thought to look or search for The Recommend A DVD Thread They don't expect much from me, though!

City Of God is a stunning movie, one of the best films of this year.

It's been said that I could start an arguement in an empty room.....I see no reason to disbelieve this.
