christ screw this.. i have tried everything .. to fix this.. i have a stupid speedstream modem..
went online did the port forward thing to 8000-8001 it wont let me connect to radio station using my real ip address just the stupid 192. address.. im so mad i could take this stupid dsl modem and sling it out the window.. it hurts me more than it can help me.. i have called my iSP and im starting to believe they do this purposely just to keep me from doing like running servers.. so they dont even give me no support on how to disable the firewall.. christ if i wanted to run a freaking firewall id put one up myself.. .. im so sorry but i have been working on this for about a week now and i cannot get no help.. i have tried looking on the forums for answer but im so freaking stupid when it comes to networking i can hardly understand anything you guys are talking about when you say do this or do that... hell im about ready just to pay someone to tell me how to make this work right |

There is no DNAS at http://67.50.109.102:8000
http://bobbydosfx.cjb.net/listen.pls -> vomits your pls http://bobbydosfx.cjb.net/ your evil (thwarted) cjb page. *********************** Check out the DNASs sc_serv.ini/conf configuration file for the section (default shown below): code: ********** [edit] if your router doesn't support local loopback then machines on the same lan as the DNAS (you) need to use the lan ip of the DNAS to connect/listen. Machines not on the same lan as the DNAS (the rest of the world) need to use the real, world-visible ip of the DNAS to connect/listen. [/edit] |

Thanks mate.. sorry bout the url crappy servers. im tight with money right now ..
anyways.. all i know is when i go to that thingy called can they connect to you.. it says no.. but .. if i start the server and connet to 192. whatever:8000 i can hear my own server.. so does that mean others will hear it? as far as my forward ports . all i do is put in tcp and use ports 8000-8001 right?.. anyways thanks for helping me this far.. i got frustrated and had to walk away from the pc |

No. 192.whatever, would be your local IP address, not your "real-world IP". Find out from http://www.whatismyip.com

Send me a link to your stream. You might have not have local loopback.
