You need to find out the PID for the process.

You can do this by loggin into ur server & running this command -> ps x this shall show the processes. Then once u find the PID, which is a number for the shoutcast server proccess you do what you were told kill <PID of SHOUTcast> in even more laymen terms E.G kill 1234

Ok it works fine. But why show me the server *<11/30/03@12:25:43> [yp_add] error resolving yp.shoutcast.com*

Why he can't resolve me to the YP? I have the default configurations...why do he show it to me????

[conf] Couldn't find sc_serv.conf

*******************************************************************************
** SHOUTcast Distributed Network Audio Server

** Use "sc_serv filename.ini" to specify an ini file.
*******************************************************************************
[conf] Couldn't find sc_serv.conf -- assuming defaults

Event log:
<11/30/03@14:57:10> [SHOUTcast] DNAS/MacOS_X v1.9.2 (11/25/02) starting up...
<11/30/03@14:57:10> [main] pid: 619

it gives me this error in a mac os x terminal (running jaguar os)

how can i make the sc_serv.conf readable by the server????
