![]() Say, why is it, that even though on install I uncheck the option to install the global key support - yet, it is still being installed? Same goes for the burning support and etc, I uncheck their options on install and I still see it there... |

DJ Egg,
I haven't installed them, ever. Is there a list that summerizes the role of each .dll? |

not that i care or anything but the fact that this public beta happens to be number 666 is a little humorous to me.
at least if it screws up i'll know who to blame.

Putting 666 in the release version was meant to be funny, but I think I'm going to pass on this release. Anything with "666" in the version name coming from an AOL company just scares me. Even if it is Nullsoft.

Problem
I noticed this problem starting at RC10 but it may have been their earlier. On the right click menu, under visualizations, I have multiple copys of things. To explain, the choices on that menu as of RC666 read:
start/stop... configure... select... then a line winamp modern > color themes > line winamp modern > color themes > line winamp modern > color themes > line winamp modern > color themes > the number of repitions of this changes whenever i restart winamp, but usually just twice. However, if winamp is already running, and I click winamps short cut again (i have multiple instances off), it adds another set of modern > theme> to the menu, up to a maximum of four. What you think about that? |

Monkey audio and DrO's jump to plug in. Also let me revise my description. A new set of modern> theme> is added every time I check the menu, has nothing to do with me clicking the shortcut again. Ill do a clean install now.

Christophe,
what prevents you Nullsoft guys from putting any sign of Winamp5's existence on the main winamp.com page? I know that the main page will change on the final launch day, but what makes the process of updating the main page so slow? Is it overly carefully monitored and screened by AOL? thanks! 5![]() 3 I encode my music in Ogg Vorbis 2![]() I know enough about music and computers not to like computerized music. |

Oh no, the Pro registration screen is still there in the light version.
I had wished that that would be removed in the final for the Standard and Lite version. But as I see, there will probably be no commercial nag screen free version. I hate the Winamp Pro entry in the preferences althogh using the lite version, and the CD ripping entry, although no cdripping is installed in the full version. eeeee eeeeeee eeeee eeeee eeeee 8 8 8 8 8 8 8 8 8 8 88 8eee8 8e 8 8 8eee8 8e 8 8 8 88 8 88 8 8 88 8 88 8 8 8 88 8 88 8 8 88 8 88 8 8eee8 |
