the file is corrupt

So, I changed the transparency for myself, but I want the new winshade buttons.

and there is also a bug in the pledit.bmp, move the MISC button one pixel down.

here are the fixed REGION and a better PLEDIT file (without the bug and original win2k colours)

and please make some better pledit buttons like such in the attached file (you can use them).

I tryed several font-types, but haven't found what I want.
perhaps, little icons instead of textbuttons is a better idea.

Regarding the buttons I prefer them to stay as they are, because this skin should have the same stile as original one.

err... I see no change in transparency, the titelbar of the main window is ugly and there are some bugs in eq on the bottom transparency.

I tend to agree the suggested region text by Voodopower is a bit better, look at it in the skin attached to the next post. To this post I will attach a titlebar bmp, take a look at that. It is also in it's full form in the next post's skin.

And here is the (reduced because of size) skin.

Now the rounded corners do look nice, but when you put all components in the winshade mode, some corners are rounded, some are not. Maybe should be all square there, eh?

In my opinion the playlist and the ML should be squared... it doesn't look good with rounded borders if transparency cannot be applied. Here is the bmp of the squared version of the playlist.

Btw, is it me or the GEN and GENEX.bmp files don't work in the last skin you uploaded here? I see the standard media library.

It's up, also did some work on the title bars. (Browser, Library, etc.)

Since this will be the only classified modern skin in the database, it better be a darn good one.

This will end my involvement with this skin.

BTW, Steve thinks it is quite good.

Hey you did some excellent work, and you should put your name in readme.txt and submission comment as a project manager.

Also special tanks to VOODOOpower for improvement of the transparency effect.

This should be the end of any involvements with this skin. Also I've decided not to submit this skin to any other website. It can be only one…I mean winamp dot com.

Not sure if this is the same story but:

The skin is beautiful and pretty close to the original.
BUT you can't see what's highlighted in the media library, which is especially buggy when selecting a whole bunch of MP3's and then not being able to see which ones are selected!
I'm using the skin on Winamp 5, maybe that's why? Not sure if it works that way...

Fix this and the skin is close to perfect :-D PLEASE fix it 'cause it's a really, really neat skin - forget that Stillwater guy!

The skin uploaded in Winamp.com's database is quite full of bugs :P

Here's a modified version with the following changes:
-PL menus based in VOODOOpower's original, much better than the current win9x-style ones.
-GEN.bmp title black bg bug solved and some letters fixed.
-GENex.bmp highlighted color fix (previously the current file playing wasn't highlighted at all).
-Voodoopower added to the readme for the transparency tweaks and the PL buttons.

Please wildrose-wally, update the one in the site with this one because some people have been reporting those bugs a lot.

Cool. Those PL stacks look way better

The Only bug I can find is that the lightning bolt button is too far to the left - only about half of it is actually 'clickable'

Also, no easter egg

Close button of video and browser window are one pixel move to the left when the titlebar is unselected.
And this is my personal opinion though,
rounded transparency of main and eq are not fit for rest of windows which are squared.
Anyway I like this skin.

I downloaded this for winamp 5

it uses less cpu power than the actual modern skin does.
one problem i noticed..... the little beat visualization under the clock is not there

I made sure it is turned on and everything and it works in all my other classic skins

anyway, great skin you got here, the best skin ever for winamp 2 imo

Yes, any vis plugin removes the small visualization in the main window.
