can't broadcast getting error messages
I have set up and ran a shoutcast server before from Debian and this time something is wrong. i'm getting these error messages thanks.
<12/16/03@15:04:56> [STREAM] Creating stream socket <12/16/03@15:04:56> [STREAM] Resolving stream host <12/16/03@15:04:56> [STREAM] Error resolving stream host [waiting 10s] <12/16/03@15:05:06> [STREAM] Error connecting to stream host [waiting 10s] I'm hoping it's a simple setting, I have also been reading about you cann't run shoutcast server when using DHCP with a router, I have used this configuation before with port forwarding and worked fine. What am I doing wrong???? Thanks in Advanced - Jim |

Are you trying to relay another DNAS?
Aye, the DNAS machine needs a static lan ip otherwise the port forwarding rule(s) will need to be updated every ip switch. |

I had it working just fine with a dynamic ip addy iwth port forwarding, my ip does't change unless I release renew the router, it says the shoutcast server is down so my broadcast is not getting out to where ever it needs to go..
Don't think i'm trying to relay another DNAS not supported under linux I believe.. |
