Stream AVI files?
I have no idea where to start, so I need some advice. I lookd at the tutorials and i'm totally confused. I have a shoutcast server, and I have winamp. I have NSV, but that's all, and I want to broadcast AVI files, without having to encode them.
Is there any way that you can play avi files in some program, and have NSV capture that as a device, or make a virtual cam and play avi files in it. Someone please help, i'm totally lost! |

The files need to encoded to NSV first and then streamed using nsvscsrc.

What is that? Could anyone direct me? I don't know how to encode them, the server i am using is remote, and I only have access to it through connecting through shoutcast.
I installed Softcam and there is nothing about bradcasting, you have to add all of the files one by one... and yah. Only lets yet save a file. |

Sorry, read that wrong. Softcam is a virtual cam software that lets you emulate having a web cam. You cant use that
for playing AVI movies. Go with what the others suggested, camtasia. Scenic Television is your ambient window to the world - - www.ScenicTelevision.com |

SoftCam does allow you to use AVI streaming. But it does not send the sound through
![]() It actually send the avi through at good quality without a lot of buffing, unlike streaming a NSV file. Shame about the sound :/ I will have to try camtasia and get back to you, but i heard it was just for screenshot/recording? |

I tried using nsvenc and I use cap then it lists the video and audio sources.. I select camtasia (0) and my audio card (0). Then when I connect I get audio but no video eventhough the avi is playing in camtasia studio. Any ideas? |
