Shoutcast DSP doesn't receive anything from Winamp

When I start up the DSP in winamp 5 final, it doesn't register anything coming from Winamp even though I can hear the music fine. When i set the input to soundcard input it works fine. Any ideas? I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling winamp, and I still get the same results.
